The Treatment Journey

What to Expect When You First Visit Our Denture Clinic

Getting dentures is a process that starts with a conversation between you and your denturist. During your first visit, we talk through what's changed, what's bothering you, and what you want your smile to do again. From there, we build a plan around your mouth, your expectations, and your functional and aesthetic needs.

Fit. Function. Finish.

Let’s talk about your personalized, aesthetic, and restorative dentures.

The Treatment Journey

Your Denture Treatment Plan, in Five Stages

Five stages, over at least five appointments, get you from first conversation to finished dentures:

Preliminary Impressions

We take the first mould of your mouth, capturing the basic shape your new dentures will be built around. This sets the foundation for everything that follows.

Final Impressions

A more precise mould refines the fit established in the first stage, accounting for details the preliminary impressions couldn't fully capture.

Bite Registration and Jaw Relation Assessment

We record how your upper and lower jaw meet and move together, so your dentures support natural chewing and speech, not just appearance.

Wax Fitting

Before anything is finalized, you try on a wax version of your dentures. This is your chance to see where the teeth will be positioned and to check the bite to make sure teeth are in the correct place for jaw relation. This step is very important as we can make changes to tooth placement at this time.

Denture Completion and Reception

Your finished dentures are ready to wear. We check the fit to make sure they feel the way they should from day one, and we send you on your way smiling.

Ongoing Support for a Lasting Smile

Achieving a comfortable denture fit is a collaborative process. Our clinic remains dedicated to supporting your oral health well beyond your first appointment, ensuring your dentures continue to feel secure and natural.
